Have a question about meal plans? We can help.

Q: Does a Meal Plan save me and/or my student money?

A: Our meal plans are tax-free and save you an average of $2 to $5 per meal swipe at our residential dining location.

Q: What does the Meal Plan include?

A: There are many benefits included with a meal plan. All meal plans consist of meal swipes and dining dollars that are loaded on to the USF ID card. Meal swipes can be used at our "All You Care to Eat" dining halls: The Hub, Juniper Dining, and The Nest. Dining Dollars may be used at any USF Dining location on the Tampa, St. Petersburg, and coming soon Sarasota-Manatee campus. Meal Plan Holders can order ahead by linking their USF ID card to the GrubHub and Panera App. In addition, meal plan holders have free access to one-on-one sessions with our in-house Registered Dietitian, Karina Falcone. Q: How do I pay for a meal plan?

A: All undergraduate meal plans are paid through on the Student Self Service Portal online similar to your tuition and housing payments. You can use financial aid or scholarships to pay for the meal plan but are responsible for any amount that is not covered by financial aid.

Q: Can I take meals to-go?

A: Yes! Meal plan holders have the option to dine in or take their meals to-go. Meal plan holders can opt in our OZZI Reusable To-Go container program at the register of our dining halls. After an initial deposit of $5 Dining Dollars, you will be provided a green O2GO box. Students can return the used box to the OZZI machine at the front of each dining hall and the machine will dispense a gold token. You can chose to present your token to the cashier if you would like your next meal to-go for a new box. If you would like to dine-in, you can hold on to the gold token for the next you would like a meal to-go. O2GO boxes will count as a meal swipe after the initial deposit has been made.

Q: How do I upgrade my meal plan?

A: You can upgrade your meal plan at any time at usfdining.com or by visiting the meal plan office on the Tampa Campus in the Marshall Student Center room 1502.

Q: What if I have a food allergy or dietary preference?

A: USF Dining proudly accommodates different dietary needs. The Hub and The Nest feature a True balance Station, which offers menus free of the top 9 allergies in the US. Juniper Dining houses Pita & Co., a dedicated Halal certified station. All three of dining halls offer plant-forward menus.

Q: How can I share feedback or ideas about future services or issues I/my student may be having?

A: USF Dining values feedback from our guests. Our goal is to make sure students feel heard and that we can create the best on-campus dining service for each individual.
